UPSC CDS Cut Off – Merit List – Exam Analysis

Latest Updated on 26 March 2018:- Good News! Union Public service Commission Combined Defence Service Examination is to be conducted on 04 February 2018, as per No.F.8/4/2017.E.I(B). This exam was to be conducted for the courses mentioned below:-

  • Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 146th (DE) Course commencing in January 2019
  • Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala Course commencing in January 2019 Executive (For General Service)
  • Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in February 2019 i.e. No. 205 F(P) Course.
  • Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) 109th SSC (Men) Course (NT) commencing in April 2019.
  • Officers Training Academy, Chennai 23rd SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in April 2019.

Detail information about UPSC CDS Cut Off

Let’s first talk about CDS 1 exam, so that candidate will get an idea about the exam pattern and they will prepare accordingly. After that, we will provide you the latest links for UPSC CDS Cut OFF.

About the CDS 1 Exam:- The exam pattern for the UPSC CDS 1 will be as follows:

  • It will comprise of Written Exam and the Interview.
  • For taking the admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy, there will be 3 Papers, which is to be conducted, each of 100 marks. The time allotted for the exam will be 2 hours (120 Minutes).
  • For taking the admission to Officers’ Training Academy (OTA), there will be 2 papers, each of 100 marks. The time allotted for the exam will be 2 hours (120 Minutes).
  • There will be only objective type questions in the exam.
  • The question papers (Test Booklets) of General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English.
  • The exam will be conducted in offline mode.

Applicants who have appeared for the UPSC CDS 1 exam 2018, both male and female, must know that the exam will be made up of 200 marks for Officers’ Training Academy, and 300 Marks for Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy.
