DRDO invites applications for 10 contractual Junior Research Fellowship positions at the Centre for Airborne Systems in Karnataka. Candidates with BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines and valid GATE scores (2024/2025) can apply. The recruitment is via walk-in interview on specified dates in February 2026. Selected fellows will work on advanced research in the Airborne Early Warning and Control Programme for an initial two-year tenure, extendable based on performance. No application fee is required. Qualification Requirements

BE / B.Tech in the relevant discipline in first division with a valid GATE score (only GATE 2024 or 2025 scores are acceptable) OR ME/M.Tech in the relevant discipline in first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

Age Limits

  • Maximum Age: 28 years

Selection Process

  • 1: Report to the CABS campus by 08:45 hours on the interview date.
  • 2: Submit application forms between 09:00 and 10:00 hours.
  • 3: Undergo initial screening and document verification from 10:00 to 11:00 hours.
  • 4: Attend the formal interview conducted by the interview committee.

7: Government, PSU, or Autonomous body employees must bring a No-Objection Certificate from their employer.
