Qualification Requirements
Patwari: 10+2 Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education / University. Desirable familiarity with local customs, social practices, regional dialects of Himachal Pradesh, and computer literacy. Assistant Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University OR GNM (A Grade Nursing Diploma) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Institution. Registration with Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council (HPNRC). Only female candidates domiciled in Himachal Pradesh are eligible.

Selection Process
- Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT): An objective type screening test conducted through OMR/CBT mode with 120 questions. Duration is 1.5 hours. Minimum qualifying marks are 45% for General category and 40% for reserved categories. No negative marking.
- Stage 2: Document Verification: Candidates who pass the CBT will have their original documents verified for eligibility, qualification, age, category, and other certificates.
- Stage 3: Preparation of Merit List and Waiting List: A merit list and category-wise waiting list will be prepared. Waiting list is valid for one year and candidates on it have no right to appointment unless a selected candidate does not join.
