Selection Process
- 1: Candidates appear for a written examination testing General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude.
- 2: Candidates applying for the Flying Branch must appear for the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) test after qualifying the written exam.
- 3: Candidates who clear the written test are shortlisted for the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview.
- 4: AFSB interview Stage I includes Officer Intelligence Rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT).
- 5: Candidates who qualify Stage I proceed to Stage II involving psychological tests, group testing, and a personal interview.
- 6: Final selection is based on combined performance in the written exam, AFSB interview, and medical examination.
