Qualification Requirements
For General Duty: Graduate Degree with Mathematics and Physics up to intermediate or class XII or equivalent. Candidates with diploma having physics and mathematics are also eligible. For Technical: Engineering degree in specified disciplines or equivalent AMIE qualification, with Mathematics and Physics up to intermediate or class XII or equivalent. Candidates with diploma having physics and mathematics are also eligible.

Selection Process
- Stage I: Computer based online screening test (CGCAT) with 100 multiple choice questions, 2 hours duration.
- Stage II: Qualifying Computerised Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT) at various centers.
- Stage III: Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality test) at Coast Guard Selection Board.
- Medical Examination: Detailed medical examination after qualifying Stage III before final merit list.
