The New India Assurance Company Ltd (NIACL) has announced the recruitment of 170 Administrative Officer (AO) positions, including Generalist and Accounts roles, for the year 2024. The application process will be conducted online from September 10, 2024, to September 29, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria:
For the Generalist AO position, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any stream from a recognized university in India, with a minimum required percentage of 60% for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% for SC/ST/PH candidates. For the Accounts AO position, candidates must be Chartered Accountants, Cost and Management Accountants, or hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). Alternatively, candidates with an MBA in Finance, PGDM in Finance, or M.Com with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) are also eligible.
Age Limit:
The minimum age for the NIACL AO positions is 21 years, and the maximum age is 30 years as of September 1, 2024. Age relaxation will be provided as per the NIACL AO Recruitment Rules 2024.
Vacancy Details:
The total number of vacancies is 170, with 120 positions for Generalist AO and 50 positions for Accounts AO. The category-wise breakup is provided.
Application Fee:
The application fee for General/OBC/EWS candidates is ₹850, while for SC/ST/PH candidates, it is ₹100. The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of two phases: Phase I – Online Examination on October 13, 2024, and Phase II – Interview on November 17, 2024. Admit cards for the examinations will be made available before the respective exam dates.
