Qualification Requirements
Candidates must have Intermediate (12th) qualification. Only natives of the Union Territory of Puducherry who have been living there continuously for the last five years before the date of notification are eligible. Ex-Servicemen are also considered.

- Maximum Age: 22 years
Selection Process
- Physical Standard Test: Candidates must meet height, chest (for men), and weight/BMI requirements.
- Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates must pass running, long jump, high jump, and other physical events with specified minimum standards.
- Written Examination: Candidates who qualify physical tests will take a written exam consisting of two papers, each 2 hours long, covering general intelligence, reasoning, current affairs, science, language, computer knowledge, and other subjects.
