Qualification Requirements
Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from a recognized University. Relaxation of 5% marks at Bachelor’s and Master’s level for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PwBD candidates. NET shall be the minimum eligibility for appointment as Assistant Professor. Candidates awarded Ph.D. in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 are exempted from NET subject to prescribed conditions. Clearing of NET shall not be required in disciplines where NET has not been conducted.

Selection Process
- Screening: Applications will be screened on a 100-point scale based on academic record, research publications, teaching experience, NET/JRF and awards.
- Shortlisting: Minimum cut-off for shortlisting is 55 marks (relaxation of 5 marks for SC/ST/PwBD). 40 candidates for first vacancy and 20 candidates for each additional vacancy will be called for interview category-wise.
- Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will give a presentation before the Assessment Committee.
- Final Selection: Final selection will be made by the duly constituted Selection Committee.
