Selection Process
- Physical Efficiency Test: Applicants will undergo a Physical Efficiency Test including race and long jump; chin up test only for male Constable (AB). Marks awarded based on performance.
- Medical Examination: Medical checkup to assess eyesight, physical deformities, and general health.
- Physical Standard Test: Verification of height and chest measurements as per category standards; no marks awarded.
- Written Test: Written exam with 100 multiple choice questions on Arithmetic, English, Logical Reasoning, Assam’s History/Geography/Polity/Economy, and General Awareness; no negative marking.
- Oral/Viva-Voce: Interview carrying 5 marks for shortlisted candidates.
How to Apply
- Register on the application portal with a valid mobile number and personal details as per HSLC certificate.
- Provide mandatory details including Employment Exchange Registration Number, qualification, district, gender, category, DOB, Aadhaar number.
- Save the generated Application ID after registration.
- Log in using Application ID or mobile number and DOB.
- Select advertisement and post preferences.
- Fill personal, educational and other details carefully; no changes allowed after submission.
- Upload recent passport size photo (JPG/JPEG/PNG, max 450 KB).
- Upload scanned signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG, max 100 KB).
- Upload required documents: proof of age, educational certificates, Employment Exchange Card, Aadhaar Card.
- Verify details and submit application.
- Generate OTP and download acknowledgement slip.
- No printout needs to be sent to SLPRB Assam at this stage.
- Keep a copy of application and acknowledgement for future reference.
