Selection Process
- Stage I – Computer Based Test (CBT): A computer-based test of 400 marks (100 questions). For AEE: Environmental Engineering (70 questions) and General Aptitude (30). For ASO: Environmental Sciences (70) and General Aptitude (30). Duration 120 minutes. Each correct answer: +4 marks, each wrong answer: -1 mark.
- Stage II – Interview: Shortlisted candidates from CBT will be called for an interview which carries 70 marks. Merit list will consider CBT scores subject to minimum qualifying marks decided by UPPCB.
- Final Selection: Final selection based on total marks out of 470 (400 from CBT + 70 from Interview).
