Selection Process
- Written Examination: Candidates must appear for a written exam carrying 1000 marks, covering subjects relevant to IES or ISS.
- Viva Voce (Personality Test): Candidates who qualify the written exam will undergo a viva voce carrying 200 marks to assess knowledge, abilities, and character.
How to Apply
- Complete preliminary registration on UPSC Online Portal including Account Creation, Universal Registration, and Common Application Form (CAF).
- Fill the examination-specific application form for IES/ISS Examination 2026.
- Upload photograph, signature, and provide details of one Photo ID card.
- Submit the online application before 03-03-2026 up to 6 PM.
- Keep the Universal Registration Number (URN) and Application Number safe for future communication.
- No hard copy submission is required at this stage.
- After written exam results, shortlisted candidates must upload/update documents within 15 days.
