Selection Process
- Written Examination: Two papers: Mathematics (2.5 hours, 300 marks) and General Ability Test (2.5 hours, 600 marks), total 900 marks
- Stage I SSB Test: Officer Intelligence Rating Tests and Picture Perception & Description Test; candidates shortlisted based on combined performance
- Stage II SSB Test: Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and Conference conducted over four days assessing officer-like qualities
- Final Merit: Based on total marks in Written Exam and SSB Tests; allocation to Army, Navy, Air Force or Naval Academy according to merit, eligibility, medical fitness and preferences
