Qualification: Full-time (regular) 4-year Degree in Engineering in the notified streams (AICTE recognized); includes disciplines like Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science/IT, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Architecture, Mechanical, BCA/B.Com etc. - Diploma Apprentice: 65 vacancies
Qualification: Full-time (regular) 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the notified streams (AICTE recognized). - ITI Trade Apprentice: 60 vacancies
Qualification: ITI/NCVT certificate in the notified trades from an institution recognized by AICTE/Government of India.

Selection Process
- Provisional selection: Candidates are provisionally selected based on percentage marks in the qualifying examination (CGPA converted to percentage as per university/board norms). Ties are resolved by date of birth then date of passing.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification at the establishment office; communication will be sent only to the candidate’s registered email.
- Interview / Certificate Verification: An interview and further certificate verification may be conducted; candidature remains provisional until all checks are complete.
- Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Medical Officer or Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking at time of joining.
- Final selection and engagement: Final selection and issuance of the apprentice engagement letter follow successful document verification and medical fitness clearance.
How to Apply
Graduate/Diploma (NATS): 1) Visit https://nats.education.gov.in and click Student -> General Student. 2) Click Student Registration and provide email, mobile, Aadhaar, qualifying certificate (PDF ≤1MB) and APAAR ID. 3) Verify mobile/email via OTP and complete Aadhaar e-KYC. 4) Complete profile, upload/fetch certificates, preview and submit to receive Student Enrolment ID. 5) Search establishment ‘Airports Authority of India – RHQ NR, New Delhi (NDLSWC000002)’ and click Apply for the desired apprenticeship.
ITI Trade (NAPS): 1) Visit https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and click Register -> Candidate. 2) Fill basic, family and contact details and submit. 3) Activate account from email, then log in. 4) Complete your profile (About Me and contact details) before applying. 5) Search establishment code E05200700101 (AAI – RHQ NR) and click Apply; track invitations and sign contract if offered.

What are the minimum educational eligibility criteria?

What stipend will apprentices receive?
Graduate apprentices receive ₹15,000/month, diploma apprentices ₹12,000/month, and ITI trade apprentices ₹9,600/month. The graduate and diploma stipends have a breakup between AAI share and government share via DBT as stated in the notification.
