Selection Process
- Application scrutiny and shortlisting: The University may scrutinize applications and short-list candidates; it may limit the number of applicants called for interview and will not correspond with those not short-listed.
- Local Selection Committee interview: Short-listed candidates are interviewed by a Local Selection Committee on 25 November 2026 in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, AMU; candidates must report half an hour before their scheduled time.
- Reporting and verification: Candidates must bring originals of all listed documents for verification at the interview; late or incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Medical examination for selected applicants: Selected applicants may be examined by the University’s Internal Medical Board before the appointment letter is issued.
- Finalization and appointment: The University may modify, withdraw or cancel the selection at any stage if mistakes are found in scrutiny or selection.
How to Apply
- Fill in the Application Form online at the AMU Careers Portal following the advertisement and the User Manual on the portal.
- Fill a separate form for each post listed under a different serial number.
- After submitting, print the PDF of the form on A-4 size paper.
- Sign the printout and paste a recent front-facing photograph at the designated place.
- Attach self-attested copies of all required documents (marksheets, degrees, registration, experience certificates, NOC if employed, etc.).
- Write the post applied for, the advertisement number and its date on the top-left side of the cover.
- Send the complete form by post to: Office of the Dean, J. N. Medical College, Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-202002 before 16-11-2026 up to 04:00 p.m.
