Selection Process
- Single-level online examination: Selection is through a single-level examination only, conducted as an online Computer-Based Recruitment Test (CBRT). No separate Screening Test will be held.
- Assistant Social/Tribal Welfare Officer exam structure: Three papers: Paper-I (General Studies & Mental Ability) – 150 questions, 150 minutes, 150 marks; Paper-II (Subject) – 150 questions, 150 minutes, 150 marks; Paper-III (Subject) – 150 questions, 150 minutes, 150 marks. Total 450 marks.
- Hostel Welfare Officer Grade-II exam structure: Two papers: Paper-I (General Studies & Mental Ability) – 150 questions, 150 minutes, 150 marks; Paper-II (Subject – Education) – 150 questions, 150 minutes, 150 marks. Total 300 marks.
- Normalization if multiple sessions: If the exam is held in multiple sessions, the Commission will apply a normalization process to the marks where necessary.
- Negative marking: Each wrong answer in the objective-type papers will be penalised with one-third (1/3rd) of the marks for that question.
