Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Applications are screened using higher norms; departments apply discipline-specific shortlisting criteria (experience, institutional background, quality publications). Meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee a call.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must appear on campus with all original documents, two sets of self-attested photocopies and a signed PDF of the online form. Only verified candidates may sit the written test.
- Written Examination (Stage-I): An offline multiple-choice written test at IIIT Pune; qualifying cut-offs apply (35% for SC/ST/PwBD, 40% for others). The test may have negative marking (1/4) and is qualifying only.
- Presentation-cum-Interview (Stage-II): Presentation on research, future plans and teaching before the Selection Committee; final selection is based entirely on this stage.
- Final Communication: Selected candidates are informed by email or letter after approval of the Competent Authority. No TA/DA is paid for attending any stage.
