Selection Process
- Written Test: An offline OMR Written Test is conducted; final selection is based on Written Test scores for most posts. Written Test formats: Technical Assistant & Technician ‘B’ – 80 MCQs, 90 minutes, +1/-0.33; Cook ‘A’ & Fireman ‘A’ – 100 MCQs, 120 minutes, +1/-0.25.
- Skill Test (qualifying): For Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’, and Cook ‘A’ the Skill Test is curriculum-based and qualifying (Go/No-Go). For Fireman ‘A’ the Skill Test is a Physical Efficiency Test and qualifying.
- Detailed Medical Examination: For Fireman ‘A’ candidates a detailed medical examination is required as part of selection.
