Selection Process
- 1: Competitive examination of two papers (Paper-1: General Knowledge, Paper-2: Specific paper). Each paper is 100 marks and 2 hours.
- 2: Candidates must obtain at least 35 percent marks in the competitive examination to qualify. Negative marking: 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
- 3: Compulsory Kannada Language Examination (150 marks, SSLC first-language standard). Minimum qualifying mark is 50; failing or absence makes the candidate ineligible. Some candidates are exempt as specified in the notice.
- 4: Document verification of original certificates (degree marks card/certificate, age proof, caste/reservation certificates etc.). Candidature cancelled if originals are not produced.
- 5: Final selection based on performance in the competitive examination and meeting all eligibility criteria; sports weightage applied where applicable as per government notification.
