Selection Process
- Written Examination: Both Junior Assistant and Soldier/ Guard selection start with a written examination. For Junior Assistant the written exam has two papers totaling 200 marks (Paper 1: Kannada Language 50, General English 25, General Knowledge 25; Paper 2: Cooperative sector 50, Indian Constitution 25, Objectives and functioning of Cooperative Banks 25).
- Interview: Candidates are called for interview in a ratio of 1:5 based on written exam marks. For Junior Assistant interview marks are fixed at 15; written exam marks are given 85% weightage and combined with interview marks to prepare the final merit list. For Soldier/ Guard interview marks are limited to 15% weightage of qualifying marks obtained in the written exam.
- Merit List and Selection: A final merit list is prepared by combining weighted written exam and interview marks (as specified) and candidates are selected as per rules and vacancy position.
