Selection Process
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying run: males 4.8 km in 24 minutes; females 2.4 km in 18 minutes. Ex-servicemen are exempted.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Qualifying height and chest measurements are checked by category and post; PST is qualifying.
- Written Examination: Objective paper of 2 hours with 100 questions on General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning and General English/Hindi. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS/OBC/Ex-Servicemen and 40% for SC/ST. No negative marking.
- Documentation: Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents for verification.
- Skill Test: A 50-mark qualifying skill test; candidates must secure at least 60% and skill test marks are not part of final merit.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME): Candidates up to 3 times the vacancies are called for medical exam. Medically fit candidates are finally selected based on written exam merit; unfit candidates may apply for RME.

2: Part-II: Upload passport-size photograph (4 KB to 12 KB, 100×120 pixels) and signature (4 KB to 12 KB, 140×60 pixels).
