Selection Process
- Written examination: A written exam of 360 marks consisting of 120 objective-type (MCQ) questions to be completed in 2 hours. Each correct answer carries 3 marks and each wrong/multiple answer results in a deduction of 1 mark. The question paper will be in Hindi and English (except language subjects).
- Interview: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of written exam marks will be called for an interview worth 40 marks. Final merit is prepared using the total of written exam and interview (400 marks).
- Final merit and tie-break: Final merit is based on total marks out of 400. Tie-breaking order: marks in written exam, then interview, then percentage in postgraduate degree, then marks in B.Ed. (or B.Ed./B.P.Ed.), and if still equal the older candidate is placed higher.
