Selection Process
- Marks and Merit: Candidates are scored out of 100. For most posts 90 marks are based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and 10 marks for age. For MPW, 90 marks come from a written test and 10 marks from age.
- Age weightage: Age weightage gives 0.5 marks for each completed year from 18 years up to a maximum of 10 marks, reckoned as on 01/07/2026.
- Merit list: A merit list is prepared from the marks and displayed on the website for transparency.
- Selection list and reservation: The selection list is drawn from the merit list following the rule of reservation and the Presidential Order.
- Authority: Selection is made by the District Selection Committee of the District Health Society.
