Selection Process
- Merit List: State-wise merit list prepared in descending order of marks/percentage in 12th Std (HSC/10+2) or Diploma examination.
- Minimum Marks Requirement: Minimum 60% required in 12th/Diploma; 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. Fractions are ignored (e.g., 59.99% is considered below 60%).
- Document Verification and Local Language Test: Shortlisted candidates called for document verification; local language test conducted then for those who do not have required language certificate.
- Medical Fitness and Final Verification: Final selection is subject to verification of eligibility, qualification in local language test where applicable, and being declared medically fit.
How to Apply
- Register on https://nats.education.gov.in and complete your profile to 100%; note the enrollment number.
- Go to www.canarabank.bank.in > Careers > Recruitment > ‘Engagement of Graduate Apprentices in Canara Bank under Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2026-27’.
- Click ‘CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION’ to generate provisional registration number and password sent via email/SMS.
- Enter NATS enrollment ID, fill all required fields, choose one State and district preferences, and upload required documents (photo, signature, thumb impression, handwritten declaration).
- Verify all details using ‘SAVE AND NEXT’ and then click FINAL SUBMIT (no changes allowed after final submit).
- Pay the application fee online if applicable, then take a printout of the completed application form and e-receipt.
- Apply well before closing date; only one application should be submitted (latest valid completed application retained).
