Selection Process
- Written examination: Candidates will take a multiple choice written exam of 75 marks lasting one and a half hours. The paper has post-specific questions (30 marks), general knowledge/reasoning (35 marks) and a Konkani section (10 marks).
- Konkani minimum score: Only candidates who score at least 4 out of 10 in the Konkani section will be evaluated further.
- Minimum passing marks: Minimum passing marks vary by category: UR and Ex-Serviceman 45%, OBC 40%, ST/PwD 35%.
- Document verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo verification of documents; candidates found ineligible at verification will not be considered even if they pass the written exam.
- Tie-breaking: If marks tie, older date of birth ranks first, then higher educational qualification is considered.
