Selection Process
- Written Examination: Candidates sit a written objective exam. For posts 1 to 3: 200 objective questions, 90 minutes, English (Part A 100 common questions; Part B 100 post-specific). For post 4: 100 objective questions, 60 minutes, English and Telugu. Each question is one mark; 0.25 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
- Oral Test: On the same day after the written exam, an oral test of 25 marks is held. Each candidate answers five questions from a question bank; each answer is marked by the Selection Committee.
- Experience Weightage: For Child Helpline Supervisor and Case Worker, two marks are added for each completed year of paid work in child protection or an emergency helpline, up to ten marks.
- Result, Certificate Verification and Police Checks: Results and lists for oral tests are displayed the same day. Verification of original certificates and oral tests start the same afternoon. Police verification of antecedents is mandatory before engagement.
- Orders of Engagement: Selection list and engagement orders are issued after required verifications and on receipt of police report; engagements are on an outsourcing basis for up to one year initially.
How to Apply

- Fill the form in the candidate’s own handwriting, paste a recent passport-size photograph at the top right and sign across it.
- Enclose self-attested copies of required certificates and documents and two passport-size photographs.
- Hand over the application at the Inward Section of the Collectorate between 09-10-2026 and 14-10-2026 (10:30 AM to 5:00 PM on working days; 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, 10-10-2026), or send by registered post/speed post to reach by 5:00 PM on 14-10-2026, superscribing the cover with the name of the post.
- Collect the hall ticket across the counter upon receipt of the application, or at the help desk at the venue between 8:30 AM and 9:15 AM on exam day for postal applicants.
