Selection Process
- Stage 1 – Written Examination (OMR-based): An OMR-based written test of 100 questions and 100 marks, duration 90 minutes. Minimum qualifying marks are 30; there is negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. Exam scheduled on 02-08-2026 (different timings for two cadres).
- Stage 2 – Physical Standard Test (PST): Physical measurements including minimum height and chest/weight requirements must be met as specified for each category (different standards for male, female, 3rd gender, and Budakattu candidates).
- Stage 3 – Physical Efficiency / Endurance Test (PET): Physical endurance events (run, high jump, long jump, shot put) must be completed within prescribed standards and attempts as listed for male and female/3rd gender candidates.
- Stage 4 – Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates (1:2 ratio per vacancy) undergo a medical exam by a Medical Board including vision, hearing and musculoskeletal assessments to confirm fitness for duty.
- Stage 5 – Document Verification: Candidates who clear the medical exam must present original academic, domicile, category and other relevant certificates for final verification.
