Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination: Online Preliminary Exam (objective tests in English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability). Candidates are shortlisted (approx. 10 times vacancies per category) for the Main Exam based on aggregate marks in Prelims.
- Main Examination: Online Main Exam (General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude). Only aggregate marks in Main are considered for final merit. Minimum qualifying percentage on aggregate is decided by the Bank with relaxations as applicable.
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): Candidates provisionally selected who have not studied the specified local language in class 10th/12th must appear for LLPT for final selection; exemptions apply on producing 10th/12th certificate showing studied local language.
- Finalization and Merit: Final merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise using Main Exam aggregate. Waitlist up to 50% of vacancies (state-category wise) may be maintained. Appointment subject to medical fitness and KYE formalities.
