Selection Process
- Paper-I (Computer Based Examination): Qualifying CBT covering General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 marks), General Awareness (50 marks), and relevant engineering/technical subject (100 marks). Duration 2 hours (2 hours 40 minutes for scribe-eligible candidates). Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Paper-II (Computer Based Examination): For candidates shortlisted from Paper-I; in-depth engineering/technical subject paper (100 questions/300 marks). Duration 2 hours (2 hours 40 minutes for scribe-eligible candidates). Negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
- Document Verification (DV): Provisionally selected candidates must produce original certificates for verification (educational qualification, category, age proof, experience, etc.) by the concerned user department/organisation.
- Physical Standards and Medical Examination: Applicable for specific organisations (for example BRO/GREF); candidates must meet required physical and medical standards as detailed in the notice annexure.
