Senior Store Officer Grade-II: Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s) in Economics/Commerce/Statistics/Business Studies/Public Administration plus Diploma in Materials Management/Warehousing/Purchasing/Logistics/Public Procurement; experience required (2 years for Master’s holders; 4 years for Bachelor/Diploma holders) in store keeping and maintaining stores accounts. Livestock Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science as per Indian Veterinary Council Act, registration in Veterinary Council, three years’ experience in cattle/livestock/animal health/poultry/meat and meat products; desirable Master’s in Veterinary Science or two additional years’ experience.

Selection Process

  • Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on details in their online applications; UPSC may use desirable qualifications, higher educational achievements or additional experience to shortlist when applications are large.
  • Recruitment Test (if applicable): For some posts UPSC may hold a recruitment test; where a test is conducted candidates must obtain minimum suitability marks at that stage.
  • Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Minimum suitability marks in interview are 50 for Unreserved, 45 for OBC, and 40 for SC/ST/PwBD (out of 100).
  • Final Selection: Final selection will follow achievement of minimum suitability marks and satisfaction of eligibility and other requirements as per UPSC rules.
