Selection Process
- Shortlisting from PET-2025: Candidates who appeared in PET-2025 will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on their PET-2025 normalised score, taking 15 times the category-wise vacancies up to the final cut-off.
- Main Written Examination: Shortlisted candidates will take the Main Examination: one objective-type paper of 100 questions for 100 marks, duration 2 hours, with negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer; the paper is split into three parts covering general and state-related subjects and IT.
- Final Selection: Final selection is based on performance in the Main Examination as per the notification and post-wise service rules.
How to Apply
- Login via PET-2025 Registration Number on upsssc.gov.in and OTP sent to the registered mobile/email. Only PET-2025 registered candidates can apply.
- Select the post(s) you wish to apply for; personal details from PET-2025 will be auto-displayed. Verify eligibility and fill educational, community and other details.
- Enter post and department preference priority and indicate any preferential/additional qualifications in the ‘Other Details’ section.
- Verify photo and signature auto-displayed from PET-2025 (no changes allowed) and continue.
- Pay the application processing fee of Rs.25 via Credit/Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI or SBI e-Challan. After successful payment the application is auto-submitted. Download and print the application form.
- If needed, reconcile fee and amend permissible details on the Applicant’s Dashboard by 25-06-2026. Save a printout of the final application.
