Age Limits
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Selection Process
- Application scrutiny / Shortlisting: Applications will be scrutinised and eligible applicants will be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria and submitted documents.
- Field Trials: Shortlisted applicants will be called for Field Trials at a designated venue in Bengaluru covering physical fitness/endurance, sport-specific skills (knowledge, technique & tactical understanding) and behavioral attributes.
- Evaluation and Marks: Evaluation carries 100 marks across age, representation at State/National/International levels and Field Trials components. Minimum qualifying marks are 50 out of 100.
- Merit List and Final Selection: A merit list will be prepared in descending order of marks obtained and final selection will be made from this merit list up to the number of vacancies.
- Tie-breaking: In case of tie, order of preference (international representation, state national medals, university/Khelo India achievements, school-level achievements, then other representations) and higher number/position of medals or lower age will be used as tie-breakers.
