Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Candidates meeting eligibility are shortlisted based on aggregate marks in the qualifying degree in order of merit, up to a ratio of 1:10 (maximum) to vacancies per discipline and category.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates are assessed by a Selection Committee through an interview. Dates, time and venue will be intimated to shortlisted candidates via e-mail and posted on the HAL website.
- Final Selection: Selection is based on Interview performance; candidates must secure at least 50% marks in the Interview (relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD as per rules).

- Visit the Careers section of www.hal-india.co.in and click ‘Engagement of Junior Executives on Short term Basis-2026’ to start registration.
- Fill in Eligibility Details; on submission a unique Application number is generated and you can proceed to personal and qualification details.
- Complete Personal, Qualification and other details. SC/ST/PwBD candidates finish registration on confirmation page; UR/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates must proceed to fee payment.
- UR/OBC-NCL/EWS pay the application fee online via SBI Collect and wait for payment validation (48-72 hours), then re-login to download final submitted application form.
- pre_requisites: Keep a valid email ID and mobile number, passport-size photo (jpg <100KB), signature (jpg <50KB), semester-wise marks and employment details ready.

Personnel are inducted in the E0 Pay Scale (2017) of DPE: Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000, with Basic Pay of Rs. 30,000. Additional benefits include DA (revised quarterly), HRA as per city classification, cafeteria allowance of 35% of basic pay and 3% annual increment in the second and third year.
