Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination: Online objective test used for shortlisting candidates to the Main Exam. It has three tests (English Language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability) totaling 100 marks and 60 minutes; wrong answers incur 0.25 mark penalty.
- Main Examination: Online objective test which determines final merit. It has four tests (General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude) totaling 200 marks and 125 minutes; wrong answers incur 0.25 mark penalty; only Main marks count for final merit.
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): A qualifying language test to confirm proficiency in the opted State/UT local language; candidates who studied that language up to Class 10 or above are exempt. Failing LLPT leads to disqualification.
- Provisional Allotment and Verification: Provisional allotment to a participating bank is on merit-cum-preference and subject to identity verification, document checks and medical fitness by the allotted bank.
How to Apply
- Visit the official IBPS website (www.ibps.in) and open the ‘CRP CSA’ link, then click the apply online link for CRP-CSA-XVI.
- Click ‘Click Here for New Registration’ and enter basic details to generate a provisional registration number and password (sent by email/SMS).
- Upload required scanned documents (photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, SSC/SSLC certificate, and any other specified certificates) as per Annexure IV specifications.
- Fill in all sections of the online application carefully using ‘Save and Next’ and verify details before final submission; the State/UT choice is irrevocable.
- Pay the application fee online through the integrated payment gateway (Debit/Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Wallets, UPI).
- On successful payment, take a printout of the e-receipt and the completed application form for records.
