Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT): Eligible candidates must appear for a CBT conducted separately for each post; the exam carries 100 marks, is 90 minutes long, bilingual (English and Hindi), and has no negative marking.
- Cut-off and Merit List: Candidates scoring equal to or above the minimum cut-off marks (50 for UR/EWS, 40 for SC/ST/ESM/OBC-NCL) will be shortlisted in order of merit for further stages.
- Scrutiny / Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will have their eligibility claims and original documents verified; candidature is provisional until verification is completed.
- Medical Examination: Appointment is subject to candidates being found medically fit as per CIL’s Medical Examination Rules.
- Final Selection & Appointment: Final selection is based on CBT merit and successful verification; selected candidates will be appointed and may be posted/transferred within NCL/CIL subsidiaries.
