Selection Process
- Junior Technician selection: A Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a qualifying Trade Test (practical) at the respective AVNL unit. Merit for Junior Technicians is decided solely on written test marks; trade test is qualifying as per Annexure-A.
- Junior Manager / Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager selection: A Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by an Interview (50 marks) which carries 15% weight; merit is based on combined written exam and interview scores.
- Senior Manager / Deputy General Manager / Additional General Manager / Consultant selection: No CBT. Assessment is through presentation, evaluation of experience and expertise, and an interview conducted at AVNL CO, Avadi.
- Shortlisting ratio and notification: Candidates qualifying the CBT will be called for Interview or Trade Test in a post:candidate ratio of 1:3 (final ratio decided by AVNL). Shortlist and final selections are published on the AVNL website.
How to Apply
- Visit the AVNL website (avnl.co.in) and go to Careers > Register. Fill post name, auto-selected post code, name, mobile, and email, generate OTP, enter OTP, accept terms and complete re-verification to receive registration credentials.
- Log in with Login ID and Password, fill the full application form, upload photograph, signature and required documents, preview the form, and submit (Name, Post Applied, Email and Mobile cannot be changed after submission).
- Proceed to fee payment via the payment gateway (Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/UPI), do not refresh during payment, confirm payment, and download the submitted application/registration form for records. No documents to be sent by post.
