Selection Process
- Written Test (CBT): Computer Based Test with 180 marks; includes language, general awareness/reasoning/computers, education & leadership perspective, and subject-specific sections. Minimum qualifying marks and subject-wise pass criteria apply as specified for each post.
- Shortlisting for Skill Test: Candidates are shortlisted from the Written Test for the Skill Test generally in a 1:5 ratio, with a minimum of 10 candidates category-wise.
- Skill Test (qualifying): Chalk-and-board mock class evaluated out of 100 marks; minimum qualifying score of 60%. It is purely qualifying in nature.
- Final Merit: Final selection is purely based on Written Test marks among candidates who clear the Skill Test; empanelment as per notified vacancies.
- Tie-breakers: If tie occurs, first tie-breaker is academic score of essential qualification, second tie-breaker is candidate’s age (senior candidate preferred).
