Selection Process
- Computer Based Examination (CBE): Single-stage Computer Based Examination of 180 marks and 3 hours duration (objective multiple-choice). Final merit is based solely on aggregate performance in the CBE; there is no interview or additional skill test.
- Select List Preparation: SSC prepares a Select List in order of merit up to the number of vacancies based on CBE marks. Cadre authority confirms suitability for appointment.
How to Apply
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on https://ssc.gov.in using mobile, email, Aadhaar or other ID and matriculation details; save Registration Number and password.
- Log in with Registration Number and password, go to ‘Live Exam’ and click ‘Apply’ for JSA/LDC LDCE 2025 (CSCS, DoPT).
- Fill the online application form: cadre details, examination year, joining date, length of service, medium, ministry/department/office, HoD/HoO details, and service history.
- Capture live photograph via application module and upload signature (JPEG, 10–20 KB); upload required certificates (service book page, certified particulars of service, 12th certificate, disability certificate if applicable).
- Preview the form, accept declaration, submit online and take a printout of the submitted application form.
- Get the printed application signed/stamped and forwarded by Head of Department/Head of Office to: The Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission (Northern Region), Block No.12, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003 so it reaches by 23-07-2026 (30-07-2026 for abroad/remote candidates).
- Download Admission Certificate from SSC-NR website when uploaded; appear for the CBE at the allotted centre in Delhi-NCR.
