Selection Process
- Paper-I: Computer-based objective multiple-choice exam covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Paper-I has negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET): Qualifying physical tests including height/chest norms and endurance events (running, jumps, shot put where applicable). PET is qualifying; ex-servicemen are exempted from PET but must meet standards.
- Paper-II: Computer-based objective test with higher difficulty and negative marking of 0.50 per wrong answer; includes General sections and an English comprehension section.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Detailed medical check by CAPF medical officers for candidates who qualify Paper-II. A Review Medical Examination may be conducted for those found unfit; review board decision is final.
- Document Verification (DV): Verification of original documents (education, category certificate, ID, driving licence where applicable, photographs, ESM certificates) conducted by CAPFs, preferably alongside the DME, before final result declaration.
How to Apply
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on https://ssc.gov.in (OTR from old site will not work).
- Log in with Registration Number and Password and click ‘Apply’ for SSC SI in Delhi Police and CAPFs Examination, 2026.
- Fill the online application form on SSC website or via the ‘mySSC’ mobile app and follow prompts to capture live photo and upload signature.
- Opt for Aadhaar-Based Authentication if available to avoid photo/signature rejections and exempt certain document productions.
- Preview and print the form, then pay the application fee of ₹100 online (if not exempted) via BHIM UPI/Net Banking/Cards before 01-10-2026 (23:00 hrs).
- Submit the application before 30-09-2026 (23:00 hrs). Use correction window 08-10-2026 to 10-10-2026 for specified correction charges if needed.
