Selection Process
- 1: Screening/shortlisting based on essential qualification, age limit, percentage marks in degree, relevance of specialisation, research experience and publications.
- 2: Top ten shortlisted candidates for each project/position are called for an online interview.
- 3: An official Selection Committee conducts the online interview and evaluates candidates.
- 4: Candidates not suitable for applied post may be considered for lower-grade positions if recommended by the Interview Committee; results and shortlists are posted on WII news page.

Monthly emoluments depend on the post: Administrative Assistant Rs. 24,000 + HRA; Project Associate I typically Rs. 37,000 + HRA (NET/GATE) or Rs. 30,000 + HRA (others); Project Associate II Rs. 42,000 + HRA (NET/GATE) or Rs. 33,000 + HRA (others); Senior Project Associate Rs. 57,000 + HRA; Principal Project Associate Rs. 67,000 + HRA.
