Senior PAT: Bachelor’s in relevant Engineering/Technology with 3 years’ relevant R&D experience OR Master’s/Integrated Master’s with 2 years’ relevant R&D experience. Principal PAT: BE/B.Tech with 3 years’ experience OR ME/M.Tech with valid NET/GATE OR Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. Selection Process
- 1: Interview: Selection is primarily based on performance in the interview.
- 2: Shortlisting (if many applicants): The Selection/Screening Committee may shortlist candidates by a written exam or any other criteria it considers fit before the interview.
- 3: Panel formation: A panel of suitable candidates is created after selection, valid for a maximum of one year.
- 4: Engagement from panel: Being on the panel does not automatically guarantee engagement; utilization depends on project requirements and available positions.

- Report in person at CSIR-NAL (RAB Meeting Complex, National Aerospace Laboratories), Adjacent to SBI NAL Branch, Kodihalli, Bengaluru – 560017, between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM on the date fixed for the post/specialization you are applying for.
- Bring a copy of your Aadhaar Card or another Government-issued photo ID, the duly filled application form, a latest passport-size photograph, and original certificates along with one set of photocopies (including Caste Certificate, if applicable).
- If applying for more than one position, apply separately for each position and be prepared to return if the interview is not completed on the scheduled date.
- No TA/DA will be paid. Candidates already working in CSIR-NAL or any other CSIR lab must bring a No Objection Certificate from their Project Leader/HOD.
