- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
Selection Process
- 1: Applications are screened and shortlisted on the basis of merit percentage as per eligibility and the number of training slots notified.
- 2: Incomplete or ineligible applications are rejected without intimation.
- 3: Shortlisted candidates are called for document/certificate verification in a ratio of 1:5 against notified training slots; communication is via registered email and no TA/DA is paid.
- 4: A merit list is prepared based on candidates who report for verification and are found suitable.
- 5: Selected candidates must accept a tri-partite apprenticeship contract on the NATS website, submit a medical certificate, and undergo police verification.
How to Apply
- Register on the Apprentice Application portal at http://jobs.hpcl.co.in/Recruit_New/recruitlogin.jsp using ‘Sign up for New Registration’.
- Login credentials will be sent to the registered email ID by the HPCL Apprentice Team.
- Sign in using the received email ID and password.
- Select the Engineering Branch from the dropdown as per the advertisement.
- Fill in Personal Details and click ‘Validate your details.’
- Click ‘Save & Next’ to proceed to Contact Details, including correspondence and permanent address.
- Select State of Training (only one preference can be selected).
- Validate details and proceed to Qualification Details.
- Upload a recent passport-sized photograph and signature.
- Recheck all details under ‘Preview’ and edit if required.
- Read the declaration carefully, check the declaration boxes, and click ‘Final Submit.’
- A confirmation email with the HPCL Application Number will be sent after submission.
- Note: Only one application is allowed; multiple applications will be rejected.

What are the minimum educational qualifications required to apply?
Applicants must have engineering graduation (B.Tech or B.E.) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation from a recognized institute, completed on or after 01-09-2023. Required aggregate marks are 60% for UR/OBC-NC and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD.
