Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate - Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA): 10 vacancies
Qualification: Matriculation and an ITI certificate in COPA (NCVT/SCVT) with at least 50% aggregate

- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
Selection Process
- Merit list: Selection is by a merit list based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination; there is no written test or interview.
- Tie-break: If scores are tied, the older candidate is preferred; if dates of birth are identical, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier is preferred.
- Document verification: Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification; originals and two sets of self-attested photocopies must be produced. Schedule is sent by email only.
- Offer: Offers are issued strictly in merit order; a standby list is used to fill places of absentees and rejected candidates.
- Training: Selected candidates are trained only in the trade for which they are selected for a 12-month apprenticeship.

- Ensure name, father’s name and date of birth match exactly between Matriculation certificate and portal profile.
- Register on https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/ or https://www.nats.education.gov.in/ and locate the IRCTC East Zone opportunity for your category.
- Enter marks for all qualifications from Matriculation onwards and upload year-wise mark sheets and pass certificates.
- Upload self-attested scanned copies of required documents and a recent photograph meeting specifications.
- Submit the application on or before 26 October 2026 and retain portal registration details for verification.
