Selection Process
- For posts up to Scale III: Selection may include an Online Examination followed by Group Discussion (if required) and/or a Personal Interview. The Bank will decide which stages apply to each post.
- For posts in Scale IV, V and VI: Selection may include Group Discussion (if required), any other test/assessment as applicable, and/or a Personal Interview. The Bank may modify the method for any post.
- Online Examination structure – Specialist Officers (S01–S108, up to Scale III): Professional Knowledge MCQ: 50 questions for 100 marks; duration 60 minutes.
- Online Examination structure – General Banking Officers (G01–G19, up to Scale III): Sections: Quantitative Aptitude (25 Q, 25 M), Reasoning (25 Q, 25 M), English Language (25 Q, 25 M), Professional Knowledge (50 Q, 100 M); total 125 Q, 175 marks; duration 120 minutes. Quant/Reasoning/English are qualifying only.
- Personal Interview: Interview is 100 marks assessing academic/job knowledge, expression, leadership and suitability. Minimum qualifying marks vary by category (50 for General/EWS; 45 for Reserved). Candidates called in approx. 1:3 ratio.
