Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination: An online preliminary exam (Phase I) with sections: English Language (30 ques, 30 marks, 20 minutes), Reasoning Ability (35 ques, 35 marks, 20 minutes) and Quantitative Aptitude (35 ques, 35 marks, 20 minutes); total 100 marks and 60 minutes. There is a negative marking of one-fourth mark for each wrong answer.
- Main Examination: An online main exam (Phase II) with sections: Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge; total 200 marks and 120 minutes. Wrong answers incur a penalty of one-fourth of the marks assigned to the question.
- Regional Language Test: A qualifying Regional Language Test in the language of the State/UT applied for. It is qualifying in nature with no marks awarded; candidates not found proficient will be disqualified. Final merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise based on Main Examination scores subject to passing this test.

- Fill in the application form, using ‘Save and Next’ to verify details before final submission.
- Upload scanned Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression and Hand-Written Declaration as per specifications.
- Preview the application, then click ‘Complete Registration’ to finalize.
- Pay the applicable application fee online by Debit/Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, or mobile wallets.
- Submit the application and take a printout of the system-generated application form for future reference.
