Selection Process
- Computer Based Written Test: 2-hour CBT with three parts: Part I – 20 questions on General Awareness; Part II – 20 questions on English & Reasoning; Part III – 60 questions on the concerned discipline. Each question carries 1 mark; no negative marking.
- Result and Shortlisting: Qualifying mark is 45%, relaxed to 40% for SC/ST/PwD. Shortlisting is based purely on written test performance.
- Document Verification: Candidates are called in order of merit up to the notified number of positions per trade/category and must produce original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies.
- Travelling Allowance: Candidates qualifying document verification are reimbursed Sleeper Class/II Class train or bus fare by the shortest route on production of travel proof.
- Provisional Offer and Medical Examination: Provisional offer issued to shortlisted candidates who must undergo a pre-employment medical examination; no relaxation in health standards.
- Final Offer of Engagement: Final offer issued only after satisfactory medical report from the Company’s doctor.
