Qualification Requirements

Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent from a recognized Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII). Must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2026 and enter JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) rank in the application. Selection Process

  • 1: Candidates are shortlisted for SSB interview using their JEE (Main) 2026 All India Common Rank List (CRL). Applicants must enter their CRL rank in the online application. Naval Headquarters will fix cut-offs for shortlisting.
  • 2: Shortlisted candidates attend Service Selection Board interviews scheduled from September 2026 onwards at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kolkata or Visakhapatnam. Call-up letters will be issued via email/SMS and change of SSB centre is not permitted.
  • 3: All candidates recommended by SSB must undergo a medical exam as per standards for 10+2 (B.Tech) entry. No relaxation or change of medical centre is allowed. Candidates already declared medically fit for NDA/INA Jan 27 need not repeat medicals.
  • 4: Candidates are subject to police verification and character verification before appointment.
  • 5: Final merit list is prepared based on SSB marks and medical fitness; appointment is subject to verification and availability of vacancies.
