- Screening and interview: Candidates are screened and interviewed by the Army Headquarters Selection Board (ASB) at Directorate General Territorial Army, New Delhi.
- Medical examination: Candidates recommended after the interview undergo a Medical Examination at the Armed Forces Clinic, New Delhi.
- Police verification: Final selection is subject to successful Police Verification.
